Coupling from a nearby signal lines will lead to crosstalk and change the impedance of the signal wire. Coupling analysis of adjacent parallel signal line may decide to signal line or signal cable between the "security" or desired spacing (or parallel cabling length). For example, to set your clock to a node of the data signal crosstalk limit 100mV, but parallel signal alignment, you can calculate or simulation, found in any given signal on the wiring between the minimum allowed distance. Also, if the design contains impedance important nodes (either clock or dedicated high-speed memory architecture), you must place the wiring on the first floor (or several) to get the desired impedance
